Burrows Named Top Reliever for OS A Thursday, October 8th, 2020 Beau Burrows said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 24 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Sunrise Manor Miners rising star has won the OLL Short Season A Reliever of the Year Award for 2020. He captured the award on the strength of his 1.56 ERA over 52 innings. He also had 2 saves in 17 relief appearances, 92 strikeouts and only 6 walks. He received 20 first place votes out of a possible 26. Evan McKendry of the St. Paul Mountain Cats finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Connor Thomas of the Deale Fighting Knights finished third with 3 first place votes.
