OLL Short Season A's Best Batter Announced Monday, August 31st, 2020 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the OLL Short Season A, but last week Will Benson of the Deale Fighting Knights reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Benson rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (12-for-28), 5 home runs and 12 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Benson is hitting .429 with 12 hits, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs, scored 9 runs and played in 7 games. |
