Honkers Alvarez-Lopez to Miss Year Saturday, August 29th, 2020 The season is apparently over for Jared Alvarez-Lopez. The Crugers Honkers medical staff informed the club that the catcher will be out at least 4-5 months with a ruptured achilles tendon. Alvarez-Lopez was hurt in the game against Harborcreek while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Currently Alvarez-Lopez has 3 home runs and a .219 batting average. |
