Miller and Parsons Suspended for Free-for-All
Friday, August 7th, 2020
Owen Miller of the Birmingham Drifters and Wes Parsons of the Jersey City Bombardiers will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Drifters-Bombardiers game at Drifters Stadium.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Miller and Parsons will begin serving them soon.
In 99 games this season Miller has batted at a .267 pace with 97 hits and 5 home runs.
Parsons has gone 7-3 this season with an ERA of 2.51 and 90 strikeouts in 57.1 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .202 against him.
