Top OAA Hurler Honors Go to Diplan Saturday, October 9th, 2021 Marcos Diplan is the latest OLL Double A Pitcher of the Year Award winner. The Virginia Beach starter really shone on the hill time and again and finished 2021 with a sparkling 13-8 record. In 27 starts, he fanned 265, walked 81 in 164 innings and posted a 2.41 ERA. Diplan held opposing hitters to a .143 batting average. He received 22 first place votes out of a possible 26. Justin Steele of the Oakland Alliance finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Erik Swanson of the Worcester Rattlers finished third.
