Garland Win League Championship Series Tuesday, September 14th, 2021 The Garland Ocelots have beaten the Lincoln Fire Dogs and will advance to the World Series. Garland won the final game by a 5-1 count to take the series 4-1. The Ocelots triumph was no doubt in large part because of the performance of catcher Gabriel Moreno, who was named MVP of the series. "The only thing that matters is that we're off to the next round and one step closer to a World Series," he said. The Garland Ocelots don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Des Moines Legion - Jersey City Bombardiers series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
