This Week's Star Player is Thorson Monday, September 6th, 2021 Mike Thorson burst onto the OLL Double A stage in a big way last week. This promising rookie third baseman for Alden garnered everyone's respect by putting up some remarkable numbers and picking up the Player of the Week trophy. The 22-year-old haunted opposing pitchers hitting .429 (9-for-21) with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs last week. Thorson is batting at a .313 pace this season, picking up 36 hits in 115 at-bats with 12 home runs, 31 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
