East Division Winner is Jersey City Bombardiers Thursday, September 2nd, 2021 The Jersey City Bombardiers are trying to accomplish something that's never been done before - hosting a World Series parade in the city of Jersey City. They've taken the first big step, winning the East Division title. "We want to win a championship, that's our ultimate goal and something our franchise deserves," said starting pitcher Bo Takahashi. "Our coaches, GM and ownership have been behind us, it's time to make that effort pay off." The club's record sits at 85-51 and it is the 1st time they've won the division title. Team manager Dwayne Pollok said it will be the "accomplishment of a lifetime" if he can lead the team to a championship. "It's what we've been working towards for so long," he said. |
