Garland Loses Willy Collado, Will Miss Season
Monday, August 9th, 2021
The season is finished for Willy Collado of the Garland Ocelots. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Ocelots reliever suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Vail Colt 45s. Team doctors said it would take at least 7 months to heal.
For the season Collado has 1 save, tossed 22.1 innings, fanned 32 batters and produced an ERA of 3.22. He has also been credited with 2 wins and no losses.
