Alvarez Mows Down 16 Tar Heels Friday, August 6th, 2021 Bonham Anglers starter Yadier Alvarez brought his best stuff to Ballpark of Bonham today against the Chesapeake Tar Heels, striking out 16 batters in his club's 2-0 victory. In a strong performance, the 25-year-old Alvarez gave up 1 hit in his 8 innings of work and issued 3 walks. "I felt good out there," he said after the game.
