Lexington Hexed: No-Hit by Torres Sunday, June 27th, 2021 There was magic on the mound today at Ballpark of Garland as Garland Ocelots starter Antonio Torres no-hit the Lexington Silver Wolves. Torres held Lexington hitters spellbound and helpless in a masterful display of pitching, leading the Ocelots to a 3-0 win. "It was like I was in a dream," Torres said afterward. "The ball just went right where I wanted it to." In his mound masterpiece, Torres rang up 12 strikeouts and issued no walks. Torres has made 13 starts so far this year and put up a 7-1 won-lost record with a 1.96 ERA. In 69 innings he has allowed 49 hits, walked 17 and struck out 82. View Boxscore |
