Chesapeake-Birmingham Free-for-All Gets 2-Game Suspensions Sunday, June 6th, 2021 Baseball officials have notified the Tar Heels and Drifters organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Chesapeake-Birmingham contest at Tar Heels Ballpark. Sammy Siani of the Tar Heels and Juan Pablo Lopez of the Drifters will have to sit out 2 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. This season Lopez has been credited with 1 save. In 7 relief appearances and 14.1 innings he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, 2.51 ERA and 21 strikeouts |
