Bakersfield-Oceanside Fight Results in Suspensions Friday, May 14th, 2021 Tyreque Reed of Bakersfield and Magdiel Cotto of Oceanside were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Reed will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Cotto was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This season Reed is swinging the bat at a .183 pace. He has hit 3 home runs and scored 10 times, while driving in 7. His on-base percentage is .432 and he has played in 23 games. Cotto has nailed down no saves for the year. He has also totaled 29 strikeouts and 7 walks in 24 innings while registering a 5.63 ERA and a 0-1 won-lost record. |
