North Haven Befuddled by Willison in 4-0 Whitewash Tuesday, April 27th, 2021 The North Haven Red Aces were almost helpless today in their 4-0 loss to the Atlanta Hurons and hurler Adam Willison. Willison kept the Red Aces confused all game, spinning a 6-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Willison," North Haven manager Rich Batchelor said in his postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 22-year-old right-hander had no walks and 7 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Willison said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." His record this year is 3-2 in 5 starts and Willison has a 4.18 ERA. View Boxscore |
