Moreno Valley's Vasil to Miss Season Sunday, September 6th, 2020 Mike Vasil has to call it a season. The Moreno Valley Speed Devils starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Birmingham Drifters and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Vasil was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as shoulder inflammation and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. On his stats sheet this season Vasil shows a 5-14 record, 24 starts, 105.1 innings, 68 strikeouts and a 7.26 ERA. |
