OAAA Premier Player Picked Monday, August 17th, 2020 At the age of 27, Matt Beaty might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The St. Petersburg third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .571 batting average. For his efforts Beaty collected the OLL Triple A Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs and 6 RBIs last week in 6 games. Beaty is currently batting .352 with 8 home runs, 24 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has 43 hits in 122 at-bats. |
