OAAA's Top Player, Jones of Aurora Monday, August 30th, 2021 So far in his young career, Nolan Jones has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the OLL Triple A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Aurora Butchers third baseman hit at a torrid .423 clip as he collected 11 hits in 26 at-bats, 5 home runs, 11 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season Jones is hitting .210 with 32 home runs, 69 RBIs and 71 runs scored. He has 97 hits in 463 at-bats and a .325 OBP. |
