Grand Rapids Loses Anderson for Year
Wednesday, August 25th, 2021
The news is bad in Grand Rapids. The Pipers have lost the services of starting pitcher Chase Anderson for the rest of the season due to a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Anderson was injured in a recent game with the West Livingston Keys while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 6 months.
In 26 starts this season Anderson has notched a 5-13 record and a 4.57 ERA.
