Yangervis Solarte Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, June 26th, 2021 When Buffalo third baseman Yangervis Solarte was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Diamond Miners-Peaches game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Solarte had sustained a ruptured achilles tendon and will be out for about 7-8 months. During the current season Solarte is batting at a .260 clip with 5 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 54 games and scored 25 times. |
