Reliever of the Year Award Goes to Jones

At the young age of only 26, Damon Jones has been named the OLL Triple A Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2020.

The future appears bright for the Minneapolis Yellow Jackets relief ace, who captured the award with 1 save in 39 relief appearances, 157 strikeouts in 82.2 innings and a record of 4-2 to go with his 1.74 ERA.

He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 26. Brian Shaffer of the West Livingston Keys finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Cody Allen of the Knoxville Diamond Cats finished third with 3 first place votes.
