OLL Awards Player of the Week Monday, September 13th, 2021 There's nothing like being in the prime of your baseball career -- and playing like it. Just ask Will Smith, the San Diego catcher, who swung a sweet bat all week to not only aid his team, but also pick up the Ottoneu Lockdown League Player of the Week honors. Smith piled up 10 hits in 21 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 RBIs while hitting .476. This year Smith has socked 109 hits in 458 at-bats for a .238 average with 34 home runs. He is getting on base at a .328 pace and his totals also include 86 RBIs and 85 runs scored. |
