Recovery Slow For Ragin Cajuns Hunter Harvey
Friday, September 10th, 2021
"It's worse than we thought." That was the news from the Ragin Cajuns clubhouse today as it was learned that closer Hunter Harvey will be out for an added 4 months as a result of a recent injury. His treatment for a ruptured finger tendon will have to be extended. Initially it didn't seem the injury was a major concern, but the Memphis closer told team trainers of some discomfort yesterday morning, and upon examination it was determined to be a more serious injury. "We'd rather take this thing slowly and make sure Hunter gets back onto the field healthy," said the team's head trainer.

Hunter Harvey is expected to undergo surgery in Memphis(Tennessee) tomorrow.

Harvey has collected no saves for the year with 112 strikeouts and 21 walks in 60.1 innings while registering a 4.62 ERA and a 3-2 won-lost record.
