Setback For Fury and Stephen Strasburg Monday, September 6th, 2021 The Seattle Fury announced today that Stephen Strasburg would be missing for longer than expected as the 33-year-old starting pitcher recovers from shoulder inflammation. "Stephen had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Fury GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Strasburg would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 8 months more recovery time." Stephen Strasburg is expected to undergo surgery in Seattle(Washington) tomorrow. |
