Lux Hits for the Cycle Tuesday, August 31st, 2021 Gavin Lux hit for the cycle and paced the Rochester Squirrel Cats to a 14-4 victory over the Denver Moose at Rochester Grounds today. The Squirrel Cats second baseman led the way for his club with 4 hits in 4 at-bats -- 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run -- along with 4 runs batted in and 4 runs. "Now that I know what Gavin is capable of, I'm going to expect it more often," Rochester manager sonny1527 joked with reporters after the game. Gavin Lux hit an RBI double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Pierce Johnson in the 5th and hit an RBI triple in the 7th.
