Everything went the way of the Rochester Squirrel Cats, who not only came away with the 5-2 victory over Cleveland, but also held Ruiz hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Ruiz said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." This year Ruiz has batted at a .321 pace with 106 hits, 15 home runs, 44 RBIs and scored 54 times. |
