OLL Player of the Week Goes to Anderson of Seattle Monday, August 16th, 2021 At the age of 28, Brian Anderson might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Seattle third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .579 batting average. For his efforts Anderson collected the Ottoneu Lockdown League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 4 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Anderson is batting .234 with 82 hits and 14 home runs. He has scored 53 times and has batted in 44 runs. |
