League Suspends Mazara and Canning for Brawl Thursday, August 12th, 2021 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Cleveland-Milwaukee contest at The Web. The Spiders Nomar Mazara and the Milkshakes Griffin Canning will have to sit out 5 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Mazara has collected 82 hits for the Spiders this year, 13 of them home runs. He has also netted 49 RBIs and scored 40 runs while batting .268. For the year Canning has a 10-3 record with a 4.23 ERA in 26 starts. |
