Robbie Ray Sidelined for Season Thursday, August 5th, 2021 A blow for Robbie Ray today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 13 months with a torn rotator cuff. Ray suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the El Paso Metro Stars are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Ray's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. In 24 starts this year Ray has fashioned a 6-9 record and a 4.26 ERA. |
