Season Possibly Over for Oscar De La Cruz
Tuesday, July 27th, 2021
The season is apparently over for Oscar De La Cruz. The New York Yaks medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 10 months with a torn rotator cuff. De La Cruz was hurt in the game against El Paso while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season.
This season De La Cruz has logged 1 save. He has thrown 54 innings, dished out 84 strikeouts and walked 26 while putting up a 2-0 mark and a 4.67 ERA.
