Flaherty Twirls 4-0 Shutout for Matadors Saturday, June 12th, 2021 In a remarkable performance, San Diego Matadors starter Jack Flaherty beat the Indianapolis Gearheads 4-0 in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Matadors hurler finished with 10 strikeouts and no walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Indianapolis manager koalastorm said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
