Austin Riley had a good game, but he could not keep the El Paso Metro Stars from falling, 5-4, to the Rochester Squirrel Cats at Rochester Grounds. The El Paso first baseman went 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once in the loss. Rochester reliever Will Harris picked up the win, raising his record to 1-1. Andrew Kittredge was tagged with the loss. The loss has the Metro Stars at 6-3.

Matt Chapman was the walk-off hero for Rochester. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Squirrel Cats third baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Chapman.
