Behind a fine performance from Kyle Tucker, the Nashville Nightcaps knocked off the Seattle Fury, 9-4. Tucker was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Nightcaps. Nashville reliever Yency Almonte picked up the win, raising his record to 6-2. Brendan McKay was tagged with the loss. With the win, Nashville pushed its record to 49-28.

Nashville grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Tucker, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2020, hit a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season put the Nightcaps out in front, 8-4.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Tucker said. "We did a good job of that today."
