Starting pitcher Shun Yamaguchi took care of business, helping the Nashville Nightcaps stifle the El Paso Metro Stars, 3-2. Yamaguchi, now 3-1, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs. Freddy Peralta converted his 16th save in 18 tries.
