Patino Now 4-3 After Subduing Dust Devils
|
Luis Patino was superb against Tucson. The right-hander, who is tied for 10th in the OLL with a 7 quality starts, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Nightcaps victory. The score was 5-1. Nashville raised its record to 35-26 with the win.
Patino, who leaned on his fastball, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 7 innings for the Nightcaps. For the most part, Tucson hitters were simply overmatched.
"I just made my pitches," said Patino, "and the ball kept missing the bat."
