|
The El Paso Metro Stars relied on the hitting of right fielder Josh Reddick to stop the Memphis Ragin Cajuns, 5-4. For the game, Reddick went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Alec Mills was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 2 strikeouts. The save went to Giovanny Gallegos, his 16th this season.
It could have been a different outcome for El Paso, had it not been for Braden Bishop, the 27-year old center fielder . Bishop contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put El Paso up, 4-3.
