The Baltimore Archers picked up a win at The Castle, knocking off the Indianapolis Gearheads, 9-0. On the mound for Baltimore was right-hander Luis Severino, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the win, Baltimore upped its record to 33-20.

Severino was in the zone all game. He frustrated Indianapolis hitters while giving the Archers 7.1 innings of quality work. Severino threw 95 pitches, allowing 1 hit and getting 6 punchouts.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Baltimore manager damgagnon .
