Chris Okey helped his team muscle past the Austin Murder Hornets, 5-3. In the game, the Albuquerque catcher was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Lance Lynn picked up the win with 6 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 10. On the season, he is now 1-1. Anthony Kay recorded the save for Albuquerque, his 1st of the season.
With Albuquerque trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the fifth, Okey hit a fastball from Jose Berrios for a 2-run triple. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Isotopes ahead, 2-1.
Okey told a Albuquerque Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
Austin falls to 4-2.
