Skidding Gearheads Lose 9th Straight
The Rochester Squirrel Cats bested the Indianapolis Gearheads, 4-3, at Rochester Grounds. Gavin Lux was one of the standouts. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. Rochester reliever Will Harris picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Yohan Ramirez was tagged with the loss. The losses continue to add up for Indianapolis, which has now fallen 9 times in a row.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Rochester catcher Jason Castro, facing Adam Ottavino, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Squirrel Cats the 4-3 win.

Castro called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
