The Baltimore Archers defeated the Brooklyn Sycamores, 3-1, in Ottoneu Lockdown League action at The Castle. Baltimore pitcher Luis Severino had a standout performance. With the win, Baltimore pushed its record to 30-18.

Severino, who was born in Sabana de la Mar, Dominican Republic, threw 97 pitches over 6.1 innings, while allowing no runs.

"Luis was able to execute his pitches," said Baltimore manager damgagnon . "Simple as that."
