Andujar Shines in 9-1 Albuquerque Win
The home crowd had a good time watching the Rochester Squirrel Cats and Albuquerque Isotopes get after it.

Led by Miguel Andujar, the Albuquerque Isotopes defeated the Rochester Squirrel Cats, 9-1. Andujar was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 3 for the Isotopes. Dakota Hudson got credit for the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 6 innings. Scott Barlow got credit for the save for Albuquerque. It was his 1st of the year.

Nelson Cruz had a big 2-run double for the Isotopes in the bottom of the first inning. With Albuquerque leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from Trevor Oaks and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Isotopes ahead, 4-1.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Albuquerque manager Niv Shah.

With the win, Albuquerque upped its record to 21-16.
