Metro Stars right fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. put his stamp on his team's 6-4 win over the Cleveland Spiders. Acuna Jr. was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk for El Paso in the contest. Jordan Montgomery picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-0. He struck out 7 in 7 innings. Giovanny Gallegos got credit for the save for El Paso. It was his 3rd of the year.

Acuna Jr. contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a run-scoring double. It was one at-bat among others that helped El Paso get the win.
