Simules Win at Austin, 4-2

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the New Orleans Simules and Austin Murder Hornets.
The New Orleans Simules faced a tough opponent in Austin pitcher Jose Berrios, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Hornet Nest by a final score of 4-2. Berrios went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. With the win, New Orleans raised its record to 23-13.
New Orleans needed the clutch hitting of Andrelton Simmons to notch the win. The shortstop hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Simules on top, 3-2. For the game, Simmons had 1 home run and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Simmons.
