The Cleveland Spiders topped the Memphis Ragin Cajuns by a score of 6-4. Leading the way was catcher Keibert Ruiz. Ruiz was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Spiders. Reliever Ken Giles picked up the win. His record improves to 3-2. Hunter Harvey took the loss. The defeat makes Memphis 13-16.

Jose Martinez electrified the crowd in the bottom of the 11th when he took Memphis pitcher Hunter Harvey deep. His 2-run home run sent the Spiders home winners.

In postgame remarks, Martinez simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
