Spiders Stumble, Lose to Murder Hornets
The Cleveland Spiders got a sterling performance from first baseman Ryan Mountcastle, but the Austin Murder Hornets still prevailed, 8-4. Mountcastle was 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. Reliever Deolis Guerra picked up the win. His record improves to 3-0. Tucker Davidson took the loss. Cleveland falls to 5-15.

In the bottom of the fifth, Austin first baseman Jesus Aguilar had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Aguilar stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 3-1, Austin. For the game, he went 2 for 5 with 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Aguilar told the Austin Today.
