Sun Kings Make It 4 Straight with 9-7 Win
Rio Ruiz impressed in the 9-7 Ft. Worth win over Indianapolis. Ruiz went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Sun Kings, at 96-62, have now won 4 straight.

Ruiz contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Ft. Worth in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 7-6, Ruiz took a fastball from Yohan Ramirez and stroked the home run to right-center. His 14th home run of the season allowed the Sun Kings to leap in front, 9-7.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Ruiz said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
