Trash Pandas Improve to 91-61 with 8-7 Win

The Oklahoma City Trash Pandas beat the Albuquerque Isotopes, 8-7, in part because of center fielder Josh Lowe. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times. Oklahoma City reliever Brailyn Marquez was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Nelvin Correa. Seth Elledge got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances.
Lewin Diaz aided the Oklahoma City cause with a bases-clearing triple in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a triple, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Diaz told the Oklahoma City News. "It's as simple as that."
