Walk-Off Seals 89th Victory for Nightcaps
|
The Nashville Nightcaps knocked off the Phoenix Volcanoes, 7-6, at Warlords Stadium. Alex Bregman produced 3 singles and 2 doubles, while scoring 1 run and driving in 2. The win elevated the Nightcaps to 89-59.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 11th. With two out, Bregman hit a slider from Reynaldo Lopez for a run-scoring double. The Nightcaps, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I'm glad we can make our fans happy with a win," Bregman told the Nashville Gazette.
