The Milwaukee Milkshakes topped the San Diego Matadors by a score of 11-9. Leading the way was second baseman Franklin Barreto. Barreto hit 2 home runs, while scoring 4 times and driving in 3 for the Milkshakes. The win elevated the Milkshakes to 81-64.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Milwaukee trailing 9-7, Kyle Schwarber hit a slider from Sean Doolittle for a grand slam home run, giving the Milkshakes the walk-off win.
