Contreras Excels, Baltimore Blows Out Rochester

Behind a solid performance from catcher Willson Contreras, the Baltimore Archers defeated the Rochester Squirrel Cats, 19-3. Contreras went 2 for 3 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 5 times and driving in 4 for the Archers. Baltimore reliever Joel Kuhnel got the win, raising his record to 1-1. Griffin Jax was tagged with the loss. With the win, Baltimore raised its record to 84-53.
In the bottom of the fourth, Baltimore right fielder Evan White had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, White stroked a bases-clearing triple to left-center. It made the score 12-2, Baltimore. For the game, he went 4 for 5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
