Matadors Topple Isotopes with Late Rally

San Diego and Albuquerque duked it out and the Matadors came out victorious.
In the 7-4 San Diego win over Albuquerque, the impact of Rafael Devers was substantial. Devers, who is tied for 4th in the OLL in RBI with 102, was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. San Diego reliever Tanner Scott was the winner. His record is now 5-3. The losing pitcher was Scott Alexander. Matt Barnes recorded the save. In save chances, he's now 24 for 26.
In the bottom of the seventh inning, first baseman Abraham Toro had a key at-bat for the Matadors. With San Diego trailing 4-3, he banged a solo home run.

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for San Diego.
